A/CAPA members are invited to attend this focused webinar with PDE's Division of Charter Schools where we will spotlight key resources to bookmark in your School Code implementation toolkit and clarify statutory requirements related to cyber charter school residency verification and the transfer of habitually truant students to cyber charter schools. This session will offer guidance to support consistent, compliant implementation and an opportunity to ask your most pressing questions related to these processes.

This hands-on professional development experience is designed for attendance officers, child accounting professionals, PIMS administrators, data managers, and other school personnel responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of district data submissions. Districts are encouraged to send teams rather than individual participants. The workshop emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and provides opportunities for staff from different disciplines to work together in examining data sources, interpreting results, and developing effective reporting and communication practices. The result is a stronger, more unified approach to data management and a richer understanding of how district data can be used to support informed decision-making.

Throughout the two-day workshop, participants will work through practical exercises and real-world examples focused on:

    • Developing a district data calendar
    • Identifying and managing data sources
    • Reading and interpreting an ACS
    • Developing a data story from district information
    • Providing proof and documentation
    • Troubleshooting data uploads
    • Tracking Act 158 requirements
    • Supporting Portrait of a Graduate initiatives

Participants will leave with tools, resources, and strategies that can be immediately applied within their districts to improve data quality, compliance, and reporting processes.
