A/CAPA Legal Symposium 2027
Mark your calendars! The 2027 ACAPA Legal Symposium will be held at The Hotel Hershey on February 22–23, 2027.

This highly anticipated event is designed for child accounting professionals, superintendents, central office administrators, special education leaders, and school solicitors. Building on the outstanding success and positive feedback from previous years, the 2027 symposium will feature timely legal updates, practical guidance, and valuable networking opportunities. We look forward to another exceptional event and hope you'll join us in Hershey!

Fall Conference Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the 2026 A/CAPA Annual Conference, to be held November 4–6 at the Hotel Hershey.

Complete conference information is available under the EVENTS tab on the A/CAPA website. From the EVENTS menu and its drop-down pages, you'll find details about conference registration, the preliminary agenda, the basket raffle, volunteer opportunities, the election of officers, hotel accommodations, and other important conference information.

We encourage you to register early to take advantage of discounted Early Bird registration rates. We look forward to welcoming you to Hershey this November for three days of professional learning, networking, and collaboration with colleagues from across Pennsylvania.

August 12 Webinar Postponed

The webinar, From Policy to Practice: Supporting Implementation of Cyber Charter Residency Verification and Habitual Truancy Student Transfer Requests, has been postponed due to recent changes to the school code. The session will be reschedculed as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

A/CAPA Data Collection Workshop Returns This Fall

Join A/CAPA on September 14–15, 2026, at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in the Pocono Mountains for our highly anticipated Data Collection Workshop.

Designed for attendance officers, child accounting professionals, PIMS administrators, data managers, and other school personnel, this hands-on event focuses on developing stronger data practices through collaboration, problem-solving, and real-world application. Topics include data calendars, data sources, ACS review, troubleshooting uploads, data storytelling, Act 158 tracking, and more.

Districts are encouraged to send teams to maximize cross-functional learning and strengthen communication around data collection, reporting, and decision-making.
